Proper education can provide a firm foundation for tomorrow’s leaders. [Matthew 19:14] and our community believes that God calls us to help raise children and guide them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ [2 Peter 3:18].

While parents and guardians educate their children at home, the church supports those efforts with weekly classes on Sunday for pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.

In addition, education programs are available for other age groups as part of our year-round focus on Worship, Education, Service, and Fellowship. Participation is open to members, friends, and guests of our Holy Trinity parish.

Church School

Classes are held for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, after the Divine Liturgy, from September through June. Through the Church School, a sense of belonging is instilled in the youth as part of our parish community. Education goes beyond the classroom with service projects, visits to other churches/religious groups, interaction with other age groups, and hosting guest speakers. Each of these activities help to shape an Orthodox lifestyle for our children.

Youth & Teen Ministry

The youth and teens of Holy Trinity are more than the future, they are also the present! What better way to involve the teens of our parish than by providing them with a place to meet, enjoy fellowship, and grow closer to each other through Jesus Christ?

College Students

Even before our youth graduate from High School, we want to help them stay connected to the Orthodox Church not just here in East Meadow, but also near the college or university they are attending. With major institutions of higher learning here on Long Island, we also welcome college students into our community and hope to establish a local OCF chapter to further meet their spiritual needs.

Vacation Bible School

Holy Trinity's Vacation Bible School is a week-long program held in the summer, offering fellowship and fun for children ages 5-10 (older children can participate as assistant group leaders), while learning bible lessons and teachings of the Orthodox Christian church.

Adult Education

Just because we've 'graduated' from church school doesn't mean we don't have anything to learn!
Adult ed classes are available on Sundays from September through June. Bible studies are held on Saturday nights before Great Vespers, and Father Martin is available if you have other questions about Orthodox Christianity.
